Huawei and Google are launching the next-generation Nexus smartphone, the 'Nexus 6P,' jointly developed by the two companies, in Korea. As the first joint product of Huawei and Google, the 'Nexus 6P' is the first smartphone to feature Google's latest Android 6.0 operating system (OS), 'Marshmallow,' and is characterized by its combination of premium performance and stylish design.

The 'Nexus 6P,' featuring a unibody full metal design, encases the entire smartphone body in anodized aluminum—primarily used in aircraft—providing not only a sophisticated design but also excellent durability. Additionally, the corners are finished with a diamond cutting method to emphasize elegant curves. The colors available for sale in Korea are silver and graphite.

Equipped with a 5.7-inch WQHD screen, the 'Nexus 6P' features a 518ppi AMOLED display, making it optimized for enjoying games and movies as well as suitable for business use. It delivers clear and crisp sound through front stereo speakers and offers excellent performance by featuring Qualcomm's latest octa-core processor, the 'Snapdragon 810 v2.1'. In addition, it features a large-capacity 3,450mAh battery and a USB Type C port that can be connected regardless of orientation, and supports fast charging that provides up to 7 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging.

The Nexus 6P, featuring significantly improved camera capabilities, delivers the highest level of camera performance ever. The Sony image sensor integrated into the Nexus 6P is a chipset originally developed for camcorders or digital cameras, and the Nexus 6P marks its first application in a smartphone. Furthermore, its large 1.55㎛ pixels capture 90% more light compared to the Nexus 6, allowing for the capture of detailed images even in extremely poor lighting conditions. It also supports video options capable of 240fps slow-motion recording. In addition, it offers powerful, industry-leading selfie capabilities with an 8-megapixel front camera featuring Google's HDR+ technology.

It features enhanced security capabilities by incorporating the 'Nexus Imprint' fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. Positioned on the rear where the index finger naturally rests when holding the device, the sensor allows for easier unlocking and convenient launching of applications with a single touch.
