The number of downloadable games on 2016 smart TVs has expanded to over 100.

Samsung Electronics will unveil various smart TV games at CES 2016, the world's largest consumer electronics show, held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9.

Reflecting the recently increasing gaming population, Samsung Smart TV games, which are serviced in 43 countries, have experienced explosive growth, surpassing 8 million cumulative downloads and 4.5 million monthly users as of the end of November, up from 1.4 million cumulative downloads and 1.4 million monthly users in January of this year.

Samsung Electronics provides downloadable games and streaming games that can be enjoyed without a console device through 'Smart TV Games,' and in 2016, it will provide enhanced game services to offer consumers around the world a higher level of entertainment experience.

At CES 2016, a total of six game services will be showcased for the first time on Samsung Smart TVs, including downloadable games 'Revolt 3' and 'Asphalt 8', and streaming game services 'Assassin's Creed III' and 'Batman Arkham Origins' via 'PlayStation Now'.

SpecialCurrently, 63 downloadable games are available, but this number will be expanded to over 100 on 2016 smart TVs.

In addition to the games showcased at this exhibition, consumers can easily download and enjoy popular games such as Real Football, Dungeon Hunter 4, Deer Hunter, and Eternity Warriors 3 on Samsung Smart TVs at home.

In addition, the number of streaming games available on Samsung Smart TVs overseas has increased significantly from about 100 PlayStation Now games and 50 GameFly games this year, and is expected to be about 300 PlayStation Now games and 100 GameFly games in 2016.
