PTC (Nasdaq:PTC)’s ThingWorx announced that it plans to collaborate with semiconductor company Analog Devices to provide integrated sensors to customers in a cloud environment using an IoT platform.

Smart, connected products and devices collect vast amounts of data in real time and generate massive amounts of data based on it. The collaboration between ThingWorx and ADI aims to enable customers to more easily leverage leading technologies in sensing, measurement, and network connectivity to facilitate the intelligent convergence of the physical and digital worlds.

Through this collaboration, ThingWorx and ADI support the IoT journey of data, starting from devices and sensors in smart, connected devices, passing through wireless communication, and extending to the collection and analysis of big data.
