KTH Signs MOU with Mobile Healthcare Company Noom

KTH strengthens post-treatment health management capabilities by introducing Noom Health into its Well'C healthcare solution.
KTH announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with mobile healthcare company Noom for mutual cooperation in health analysis information business and decided to introduce 'Noom Health' to its health management solution 'Wellsee'.
"Healthy" is a health management solution developed by KTH. Based on the results of a comprehensive health checkup, it analyzes the user's health status (metabolic syndrome) and provides personalized prescriptions and various management programs to continuously manage their health. "Noom Health" is a personalized diet app that provides one-on-one coaching services to those seeking weight loss. Approximately 40 million users worldwide use the service.
Through this agreement, KTH announced that by introducing 'Num Health' to 'Wellsee', it will be able to further strengthen the post-health management function. For example, it will set daily calorie intake according to an individual's health condition and automatically calculate the calorie intake when a meal record is kept, helping to improve eating habits. It also provides a pedometer function and a calorie calculation function during exercise, and explains that it helps with healthy weight loss by checking daily diet control and exercise status and providing feedback through the app's dashboard.
The two companies agreed to actively cooperate in the development of future healthcare platform-based services and technologies, pilot operations of completed services, and expansion of partnership and cooperation channels for overseas expansion of the health information analysis business.
KTH is providing pilot services by supplying 'Wellsee' to major domestic screening institutions such as Seoul Central Medical Center and Hanaro Medical Foundation, and is also actively targeting the Chinese health screening market through an MOU with Beijing Xianbang Hospital on the 11th.
KTH ICT Division Director Jeong Hoon said, “We are very excited to be able to develop more advanced healthcare solutions through our collaboration with Noom, a global mobile healthcare company.” He added, “We will strive to change the paradigm of existing health checkups by providing a more advanced healthcare service than the typical notification-style health checkup service.”

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
