Lenovo Launches Powerful Workstations Equipped with Xeon Processors

Lenovo Korea announced that it has launched the ThinkStation P310 (hereinafter P310), a high-performance workstation that supports everything from Intel 6th generation Core processors to Intel Xeon processors.
The P310 is a workstation optimized for professionals requiring high performance, equipped with Intel’s latest Skylake core Xeon E3-12xx v5 processors and 6th generation Core i processors. It is released in two forms: a space-saving SFF (small form factor) and a tower, both featuring a simple black exterior that fits in any space.
This product supports NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards, the most preferred by professionals, up to the latest M4000 models, enabling it to effortlessly handle high-level graphics tasks such as CAD, video editing, and 3D drawing. Additionally, it features up to a 512GB M.2 SSD and four 64GB DDR4 slots, allowing for faster data storage and processing.
The P310 further enhances user convenience by supporting a flexible configuration and an effective cooling system. By utilizing FLEX (Fully Loaded Experience) bays, components such as I/O ports, ODDs, 29-in-1 media card readers, Firewire, and eSATA can be mixed and matched to meet specific requirements. In addition, effective cooling maintains a lower system temperature than competitor products, demonstrating high stability; not only is the probability of system errors low, but it also generates significantly less noise.
The P310 has obtained certification to run applications from major specialized ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), including Autodesk and Dassault, for industry professionals. Furthermore, it contributes to environmental protection by being the only workstation manufacturer to obtain Greenguard certification, an eco-friendly certification program.

Lenovo, 'Notebook Academy Festival' for the Upcoming New Semester
Lenovo Korea announced that it will hold the 'Academy Festival' from January 18 to March 6 to coincide with the new school term. The Academy Festival is being conducted on 11Street, Auction, and Gmarket until March 6 for customers purchasing IdeaPad notebooks, and will end upon depletion of promotional items. Lenovo Korea will draw one winner from customers who purchased products and entered the event to receive a ThinkPad X1 Carbon, a premium business notebook, and will present 60 winners with battery packs containing Honey's autographed signature. Additionally, the company will provide various promotional gifts to 1,000 customers including official pouches in Line character designs according to the purchased product and Lenovo's high-capacity battery PB300. Winners will be announced on March 16 on the Lenovo Club and Lenovo Korea Facebook website.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
