Awarded by audio/display magazine 'AVNews' at 'ISE 2016'

Samsung Electronics' outdoor signage won the 'AV Display Innovation of the Year' award from AVNews at 'ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2016,' Europe's largest commercial display exhibition held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from February 9 to 12 (local time).

AVNews is an influential audio/display specialist magazine in Europe that awards innovative products at ISE every year.

Outdoor display suitable for use in environments ranging from -30℃ to +50℃

The Samsung Electronics Outdoor Signage Series (46/55-inch, 2 models), released in 2015, is an outdoor-dedicated display that, unlike standard signage, can be used in outdoor environments ranging from -30 degrees to 50 degrees above zero.

In addition, it features water and dust resistance conforming to the IP56 (International Protection) standard established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), enabling its use even in harsh environments.

Regarding outdoor signage, AVNews CEO Edward Cook stated, “It is a very excellent product that allows you to view content with outstanding picture quality thanks to its ultra-high brightness of 3,000 nits and high contrast ratio of 5,000:1, even under natural sunlight conditions.”He gave a favorable review, saying
