Analog Devices Releases EVAL-ADICUP360 Evaluation Board for High-Precision Analog Applications

Online electronics component store Element14 (http://kr.element14.com/) announced the release of Analog Devices (ADI)'s EVAL-ADICUP360 evaluation board.

The EVAL-ADICUP360 evaluation board is part of a broad ecosystem that includes open-source development tools, software examples, and hardware modules. Featuring the Arduino/PMOD form factor, plug-and-play functionality can be easily implemented, and rapid prototyping is possible using ADI or third-party shields.

Key features include: ARM Cortex M3 analog microcontroller ; built-in dual 3.9kSPS 24-bit data acquisition/sigma-delta ADC ; up to 12 multiple analog input channels ; no need for external debugger/emulator tools ; an open-source and free Eclipse-based interactive development environment (IDE) ; and compatibility with Arduino and PMOD add-on modules.

This evaluation board is a product in which components such as a fully integrated 3.9 kSPS, 24-bit data acquisition system, a 32-bit ARM Cortex™-M3 processor, and flash/EE memory, including a high-performance dual multi-channel sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC), are implemented on a single ADuCM360 microcontroller chip.

The ADuCM360 is designed to directly interface with external precision sensors for wired and battery applications. Major applications include industrial automation and process control , intelligent precision sensor systems , 4-20 mA loop power smart sensor systems , medical devices, patient monitoring, etc.

OpenSDA Platform-based Onboard SWD Interface. In this block, you can program and debug ADuCM360 microcontroller devices using a free software development toolchain. The ADuCM360 IDE provides a user-friendly development tool with no limitations on code size.
