KT offers free VR content production lectures
Published2016.04.22 14:15KT (Chairman Hwang Chang-gyu) will hold the 'Movie Tech Academy' at KT Square in Gwanghwamun starting at 7:30 p.m. on the 28th and conduct a free public lecture on VR video content production and distribution.
This lecture, themed around VR video content, will run for an hour and a half and will cover VR market trends, VR video content production cases and distribution processes, equipment demonstrations, and Q&A. Through this lecture, you can learn about fields related to VR video content. The speaker is Kim Tae-hyung, CEO of AVA Entertainment, Korea's leading VR company that provides one-stop services related to VR, including VR content planning, production, editing, and publishing.
'Movie Tech Academy' is an extension of the smartphone video academy that KT has been running since 2011, designed to provide education in video shooting and editing using various techniques such as VR and drones, moving beyond shooting and editing limited to smartphones.
KT stated, "We organized this lecture to expand the base of the VR video content market by introducing VR-related technologies to the general public and providing an opportunity for anyone to easily and enjoyably create and enjoy VR content."
Applications for the 'Movie Tech Academy' can be submitted until the 27th via the official Movie Tech Academy cafe (http://cafe.naver.com/omsacademy/5083), Olleh Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/olleh), or Olleh Smart Blog, and winners will be notified individually in sequence by the 27th.
