Samsung SDS Partners with SAP to Strengthen Enterprise Solutions Business

Samsung SDS announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SAP regarding cooperation in the enterprise cloud business to strengthen its enterprise solutions business.
Through this agreement, both companies plan to provide services to build and operate various SAP solutions on an enterprise cloud basis for domestic and Asia-Pacific clients. This will enable corporate clients to receive stable cloud services for core business systems, such as finance, sales, and purchasing, at a low investment cost.
Bernd Leukert, Executive Board Member for Product and Innovation at SAP, stated, “Enterprise cloud is one of SAP’s core services, and we are proud to partner with Samsung SDS for this purpose. Moving forward, we will actively support our customers in building robust cloud environments through various industry-specific solutions.”
Samsung SDS CEO Yoo Sung Jeong emphasized, “We expect this collaboration with SAP to serve as an opportunity to identify business opportunities for enterprise cloud solutions in Korea and the Asia-Pacific region and to expand our business.”
Meanwhile, Samsung SDS has maintained a friendly cooperative relationship with SAP, continuing to collaborate on the implementation and operation of Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) solutions, which are business systems for enterprises within and outside the group.

PC, 스마트폰, 태블릿은 물론 최근 스마트워치와 같은 웨어러블 기기까지 연결되어 스마트 기기의 통제 범위가 넓어짐에 따라 관리해야 할 영역도 커지고 있는 상황인 만큼 전사적 차원의 디바이스 관리가 요구되는 상황이다. 이에 따라 클라우드 기반의 EMM 솔루션 도입과 적용에 대한 관심이 점차 늘어날 것으로 보인다.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
