Targeting undergraduate and graduate students nationwide

Siemens PLM Software Korea announced that it is holding a Solid Edge engineering design contest for university and graduate students nationwide.

Siemens PLM Software organized this competition to introduce its CAD solutions to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in related fields and to provide students with an opportunity to express their 3D modeling capabilities and have them externally validated.

Those wishing to participate must first fill out the application form on the registration page (http://sie.ag/1Y3xso1) by August 31st to receive a download link for the student version of Solid Edge and Solid Edge self-study materials via email. For project submission, complete your work using Solid Edge and submit it freely via the project registration link on the website by August 31st. The theme is anything that can be freely expressed using Solid Edge.

The submitted works will be comprehensively evaluated by Siemens PLM Software and an external expert advisory panel based on innovation, creativity, completeness, and the usability of the finished product. The results will be announced on Monday, September 5, via the Siemens PLM Software website and individual notifications.

Outstanding entries will be awarded in three levels: one Gold, one Silver, and five Bronze winners, with prizes such as an MS Surface Pro 4, a sports electric wheel, and a Galaxy Gear awarded to each.
