Sony Korea Launches Two High-Quality Wireless Speakers, 'SRS-ZR Series'
Published2016.07.27 06:37Sony Korea held a consumer fan signing event with singer IU, who serves as the brand model, at IFC Mall in Yeouido, Seoul on the 25th to commemorate the launch of two wireless home audio speakers, the 'SRS-ZR7' and 'SRS-ZR5,' which allow users to enjoy high-quality sound indoors. This event was organized to provide consumers with the opportunity to meet model IU and the two new wireless speakers in person.
The two wireless speakers introduced this time are home audio systems with a simple and minimal design that allow you to easily enjoy excellent sound at home with high-quality stereo sound that fills the space and various wired/wireless connection functions. They consist of the 'SRS-ZR7', which delivers clear, high-resolution sound from bass to treble even in a wireless environment, and the 'SRS-ZR5', which offers a balanced combination of powerful, high-quality sound and compatibility.
The 'SRS-ZR7' is a wireless speaker that supports HRA (High Resolution Audio), delivering rich sound capable of filling an indoor space. It is equipped with all of Sony's cutting-edge audio technologies, such as S-Master HX and DSEE HX, to deliver excellent sound from low to high frequencies, and uses Sony's proprietary LDAC codec to reproduce high-resolution sound with minimal loss even in wireless environments.
It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 4.2, and NFC functions, enabling wireless connection with various devices, and can also be used wired via ports such as USB-A, USB-B, HDMI Arc, and AUX. When connected via Wi-Fi, you can freely control the 'SRS-ZR7' installed in various indoor spaces using the Sony SongPal app, and link up to 8 speakers to create a richer and more enjoyable sound.
Despite its compact size, the 'SRS-ZR5' delivers clear and powerful sound. To reproduce clean, high-quality sound even in a wireless environment, it incorporates Sony's advanced audio technologies, including the LDAC codec, S-Master Full Digital Amplifier, DSEE, and ClearAudio+. Convenient wireless connectivity is possible via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 4.2, and NFC, while support for USB-A, HDMI Arc, AUX, and LAN ports allows users to enjoy high-resolution sound via a wired connection.
