TI Korea Introduces Analog Technology Trends for Wearable Products
Published2016.08.24 17:44TI Korea announced that it will hold the “TI Analog Solutions Seminar” for system development engineers at the COEX Conference Center in Seoul on Thursday, September 1.
This seminar will introduce a diverse range of the latest technology trends using TI's innovative technologies and products, ranging from solutions for wearable products and isolation and motor drive solutions optimized for industrial sites to 3D image rendering using Time-of-Flight technology.
This seminar covers the following key topics: introduction to TI motor drives, introduction and application of TI isolated power supplies and interfaces, introduction to TI Boost and Buck Boost for wearables, introduction to TI battery charging solutions for wearables, solving display design challenges for wearables with DLP Pico technology, introduction to 3D image implementation solutions using ToF technology, and a demo of TI WEBENCH Power Designer.
“This seminar will be a meaningful time to grasp the trends in wearable and 3D imaging technologies, which are gaining attention as major future industries, and an opportunity to meet TI’s key analog solutions, as a leader in the analog semiconductor market,” explained Director Im Seong-il of TI Korea.
Pre-registration is being accepted on the TI Korea website, and applications are limited to TI website members.This seminar is free of charge, and inquiries regarding participation can be made via the TI Korea seminar information email (tikorea@icpr.co.kr). In addition to this technical seminar, TI Korea plans seminars in various fields to provide training for system development engineers.

TI Launches Qi-Certified 15W Wireless Power Transmitter IC

Isolated gate drivers have become increasingly important as applications that transition between low and high voltages have surged recently. This is because next-generation industries are shifting toward industrial automation and control fields, where energy efficiency has become more critical than ever. As power devices operate at higher voltages, noise also increases, making the use of isolated gate drivers essential.
