Samsung Electronics Announces New Laptops Featuring 7th Generation Intel Core Processors
Published2016.08.31 13:38Samsung Electronics will release two models of the 'Samsung Notebook 9 Metal' equipped with the 7th generation Intel Core processor 'Kaby Lake' on September 1st.
Equipped with a 7th-generation Intel Core processor, the Samsung Notebook 9 Metal delivers a superior user experience with significantly upgraded PC performance. Compared to the 6th-generation processor, the Samsung Notebook 9 Metal boasts approximately 19% faster web browsing, 10% faster video and photo editing, and 12% faster work productivity.
In this new product, Samsung Electronics' unique battery technology, the 'Quick Charge' function, has been expanded from the 15-inch (38.1 cm) model (NT900X5M) to the 13-inch (33.7 cm) model (NT900X3M).
The 15-inch (NT900X5M) and 13-inch (NT900X3M) models can watch a movie for approximately 2.3 and 2 hours, respectively, with just 20 minutes of charging. A full charge within 90 minutes allows for up to 12 and 10 hours of continuous use, respectively.
The new 'Samsung Notebook 9 Metal' models are equipped with Intel's 7th generation cores.It is equipped with i7 and i5 processors, and also supports Video HDR (High Dynamic Range) function, so you can enjoy images on the screen with colors and brightness close to reality.
