Samsung Electronics has launched the world's first smart signage equipped with the Tizen OS.

Samsung Electronics has released a total of seven new models, including three PHF series models (55-inch, 49-inch, 43-inch) with a screen brightness of 700 nits, three PMF series models (55-inch, 49-inch, 43-inch) with a screen brightness of 500 nits, and one PMF model (32-inch) with a screen brightness of 400 nits.

Tizen Smart Signage has a minimum thickness of 29.9mm while applying an ultra-slim bezel design of 6.9mm.

Samsung Electronics has not only applied a UI (User Interface) optimized for the user environment to the PHF/PMF series, but also provides an environment in which even flashy advertising content can be stably operated by installing a quad-core processor.

In addition, it provides a total solution that can remotely manage smart signage, allowing users to monitor the status of products installed across all regions in real time through a central server.

Samsung Electronics provides improved API (Application Programming Interface) for its 'Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP)' partners, while also ensuring compatibility with the next-generation HTML5 standard, making it easier to develop programs that can be used in various store environments.r />
Recently, European CMS (Contents Management System) specialist 'SignageLive' also completed compatibility testing of the Tizen Smart Signage Platform and SignageLive software and began selling the product.

The Tizen Smart Signage PHF?PMF series has an IP5x dustproof rating, so it can be used not only in general retail stores but also in dusty public places such as subway stations and bus terminals, and it has durability that can be used for 24 hours without any problems.

In addition, the 'Center IR' technology, which receives remote control IR signals from the screen, has been applied to improve usability by enabling remote control signal reception in various installation environments where the remote control reception sensor is obstructed, such as when smart signage is mounted on a wall or configured as a video wall.

Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business Division Executive Director Seok-ki Kim said, “Samsung Electronics will actively target the smart signage market with the PHF/PMF series, which has greatly improved product compatibility with Tizen,” and “We plan to expand the future display market centered around Tizen-equipped smart signage.”
