Bang & Olufsen Launches 'BeoSound 1'
Targeting music-loving singles, newlyweds, and minimalists

Bang & Olufsen (B&O) announced the release of the 'BeoSound 1,' a wireless all-in-one speaker that demonstrates the proposition that 'small is simple and beautiful.'

The Beosound 1 is a wireless all-in-one speaker that encapsulates a minimal conical design with practical features. Its target audience is singles, newlyweds, and minimalists who listen to music in relatively small spaces and find beauty in simplicity. It comes in a single silver color and is priced at 1.87 million won.

Designed by Danish industrial designer Torsten Valuer, the new product is the smallest and most portable among the products in the company's luxury line, Bang & Olufsen. It measures just 16.2 cm in width and 32.7 cm in height, weighing only 3.5 kg. By gripping the groove carved into the top of the speaker, you can move it to any spot in your home where you want to listen to music, such as shelves, the floor, or a table. Crafted from anodized aluminum, the speaker cabinet is stylish and sturdy.

The top of the speaker features 'Acoustic Lens Technology,' which delivers sound consistently and horizontally regardless of the listener's position. The new product is equipped with a speaker driver consisting of one 1.5-inch full-range and one 4-inch woofer, and a Class D amplifier consisting of one 40W full-range and one 20W woofer, delivering a total of 60W of sound in a 360-degree direction.

The Beosound 1 combines a clean, simple design with stylish and practical operation. You can control functions such as volume adjustment and track skipping by tapping, rotating, or swiping the touch wheel on the top of the speaker. Additionally, the integrated proximity sensor built into the speaker automatically detects the listener's location, allowing for convenient touch wheel operation regardless of where the listener approaches.

You can also enjoy a wider variety of streaming music services through smart devices such as mobile phones. It supports streaming formats such as Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Bluetooth audio streaming, DLNA-DMR, and Spotify Connect, and allows you to use music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, and TuneIn Internet Radio.
