Bang & Olufsen has officially launched the BeoPlay M5, a wireless speaker that can be used in various spaces in the home.
The Beoplay M5 is a new product in the premium line B&O PLAY. It is compact in size, measuring 16.5 cm in width, 16.5 cm in length, 18.5 cm in height, and weighing 2.5 kg, making it easy to carry.
The Beoplay M5 is equipped with five driver units, and a total of 130W of powerful sound is distributed in 360° directions. It is equipped with one 5-inch woofer, one 1.5-inch midrange, and three 3/4-inch tweeters, and a Class D amplifier with one 40W woofer, one 30W midrange, one 30W front tweeter, and one 30W rear tweeter.

You can control functions such as volume and connection simply by touching the top made of anodized aluminum. The 'Tone Touch' function in the Beoplay app also allows for optimized sound settings for the user's location.
It can also be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0, Chromecast, Airplay, and DLNA, and can also use streaming services such as Spotify and Deezer, as well as Internet radio TuneIn. Through BeoLink Multiroom, you can freely connect and control all Bang & Olufsen audio devices in your home in a wireless environment. Products that can be connected to Beoplay M5 include 'Beoplay A6', 'Beoplay A9', 'BeoSound 1', 'BeoSound 2', and 'BeoSound 35'.
The Beoplay M5 was designed by renowned Danish industrial designer Cecilie Manz, and features a cylindrical cabinet with a wool blend cover. The speaker body comes in two colors: black and natural, with additional speaker covers in dark rose and moss green to be released this spring. The price is 860,000 won.
