DTS Provides Audio Technology to LG Electronics Wearable Speaker

DTS (Tessera Holding Corporation) announced that it is launching the LG TONE+ Studio (model name: HBS-W120), a wearable personal speaker, through a partnership with LG Electronics.
The Tone Plus Studio is a neckband-type wearable personal speaker that connects to TVs and mobile devices via Bluetooth. Equipped with four external speakers featuring DTS sound tuning technology, it delivers rich, immersive, and personalized surround sound. Additionally, it comes with built-in earbuds, allowing users to enjoy entertainment in their preferred way.

LG Electronics IPD BD Executive Director Park Hyung-woo said, “Users can now enjoy audio and video content that is a whole new level more powerful.”
Yoo Je-yong, CEO of DTS Korea, stated, “We will expand the application of DTS sound technology to various products through our collaboration with LG Electronics,” adding, “Our goal is to enable more users to experience DTS’s premium sound by continuing to cooperate with CE manufacturers.”

DTS, 3D Sound Technology Added to Video Player 'nPlayer'
?HD 오디오 기술 및 솔루션 기업 DTS는 모바일 동영상 플레이어 앱인 ‘nPlayer’에 DTS의 입체 사운드 기술인 헤드폰:X (DTS Headphone:X™) 기술을 탑재했다고 밝혔다. 뉴인(Newin Inc.)은 자사의nPlayer 서비스에 DTS 헤드폰:X 기술을 제공함으로써 사용자들은 5.1 또는 7.1채널의 가상 서라운드 사운드를 체험할 수 있다. nPlayer에서 DTS 헤드폰:X 기능 사용시 헤드폰 타입에 따라 이어 버드(ear bud) 및 오버 이어(over-ear) 타입을 설정할 수 있으며, 맞춤 사운드 설정이 가능한 이퀄라이저(EQ) 기능도 이용할 수 있다. DTS 헤드폰:X 는 iOS 용nPlayer 에서 이용 가능하다.
