MDS Technology and Innotium Join Hands to Lead Network Separation Security Projects in the Defense Industry

MDS Technology announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with data security company Innotium to collaborate on network separation security projects in the defense industry.
MDS Technology said that they have agreed to cooperate in the defense industry by supplying Tetra, a domestically produced mini PC dedicated to network separation, for physical network separation, and Innotium by supplying Enpouch, which tracks/protects/remotely destroys external leaked data.
Military security officials recently revealed that over 100,000 pieces of defense data were leaked due to hacking over the past three years.

To protect vulnerable domestic defense technology, the Defense Industry Technology Protection Act was enacted on December 29, 2015, and its enforcement ordinance and enforcement regulations came into effect on June 30 of last year. Therefore, institutions that possess defense technology or conduct research and development designated by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) must establish a defense technology protection system, including network separation.
Accordingly, the two companies have decided to jointly cooperate on network separation security projects for defense industry companies in accordance with the 'Network Separation System Security Management Guidelines' announced by the Ministry of National Defense to protect important technologies in the defense industry from cyber terrorism and hacking attacks.
The two companies plan to provide defense contractors with security training and case studies related to security incidents in accordance with the Defense Industry Technology Protection Act, as well as support network separation implementation consulting and system construction. Furthermore, they will hold network separation security seminars and jointly market products necessary for separating business networks from the Internet.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers.
