NI Korea Hosts 'LabVIEW Days 2017' for LabVIEW Developers

National Instruments (NI) announced that it will host the online 'LabVIEW Days 2017' for LabVIEW developers from February 21 to 23.
LabVIEW Days is the largest LabVIEW conference in Korea hosted by NI Korea, offering education and live demonstrations of various LabVIEW features and toolkits applicable across all industries.
Through this, LabVIEW developers can directly experience and learn LabVIEW programming skills. In addition, they can resolve all their questions about LabVIEW by utilizing real-time Q&A sessions conducted by expert engineers from NI Korea.
This conference, conducted in an online seminar format, is structured in stages, allowing participants to select sessions according to their level or interests. A variety of programs are available, ranging from basic theories—such as building your own LabVIEW environment, utilizing Arduino and ActiveX, monitoring solutions for IIoT, state machine structures, text code reuse, and UI implementation—to practical skills and advanced features that can be immediately applied in the field.
In particular, this conference features a session hosted by Engineer Sungjin Kim (KORBI Korea), the final winner of the 'NI LabVIEW International Contest 2016' held last year, and Principal Researcher Sungjun Park (LG Electronics), who advanced to the finals.
"Jo Han-gil, a representative from Strategic Marketing at NI Korea, stated, 'Through LabVIEW Days, which introduces practical programming methods, developers will be able to directly verify the strengths and benefits of LabVIEW and utilize them extensively,' and added, 'I also hope that this event will serve as a venue for collaboration and exchange among engineers and become a focal point for innovative technology and future industries.'"

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
