Hansung SMB Solution Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hansung SMB) announced that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with IT specialist Brainssquare Co., Ltd.

Hansung SMB said that this business agreement is expected to be a groundbreaking turning point in establishing a storage security environment as it is a cross-licensing agreement between Hansung SMB Solution, a storage company, and Brainssquare, an IT management software company, to share their technological capabilities.

According to the agreement, Hanseong SMB will be able to provide Brainssquare with SecureDrive, a document centralization solution developed in-house, for QNAP NAS.

Document centralization is a solution that stores and manages all documents generated during work on a central server rather than on individual PCs, reducing management points and safely protecting data from external threats.

In particular, Brains Square's Secure Drive is a document centralization solution developed to operate in conjunction with NAS.A total of three core technologies were applied: local storage prohibition technology, leak prevention technology, and encryption technology.

This allows small and medium-sized businesses to centralize documents in a NAS environment, overcoming the limitations of traditional information protection solutions such as insider information leaks, ransomware infections, hard disk loss, and lack of file distribution control functions.
