ASUS held a VIP product presentation on March 9 to celebrate the launch of its premium gaming monitor, the PG258Q.
The event was held to allow consumers to personally experience the three key features of the gaming monitor: a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time, and the inclusion of a G-Sync module.
An ASUS official stated, “It is the world’s fastest G-Sync-equipped gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 240Hz, which is about 1.7 times faster than the 144Hz refresh rate of standard gaming monitors.”
At this event, British sports car brand Lotus participated in collaboration to showcase a driving simulator linked with ASUS's new products.
In addition to new products, ASUS’s existing curved monitor (PG348Q) and custom PC (water-cooled PC) were also on display. At a presentation held in one corner, attendees were able to learn about the operating principles of gaming monitors, display panels and driving technologies, and even use cases.

CEO Kang Min-seung emphasized at Snowflake's World Tour Seoul that generative AI has entered a phase where "trust" rather than accuracy becomes the key competitive advantage.
