ASUS Launches 'Small and Light, but Heavy Performance' Gaming PC
Published2017.03.23 17:21ASUS's gaming brand ROG has announced the domestic launch of the mini PC ROG GR8 II.
The Mini ROG GR8 II is a gaming PC currently designed for VR, measuring 299mm in width, 88mm in depth, and 281.3mm in height. Equipped with an ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, it delivers average frame rates of over 70fbs at 2K and Full HD resolutions. Storage support can accommodate up to two 2.5-inch HDDs or SATA SSDs, as well as an M.2 slot, and it provides two HDMI ports and USB 3.1 Gen2 ports.
According to an official, with an Intel Core i7-7700 processor and 32GB of DDR4, AAA game titles like Overwatch can be run smoothly. In addition, you can connect two displays using two HDMI ports or enjoy games on up to three HD displays via DisplayPort.
The design is matte black, and with Aura Sync RGB lighting, users can adjust the LED through an 8 million color palette.
The heat generation, which is cited as a drawback of existing mini PCs, is reduced by a specially designed cooling system, and noise is reduced to 23dB while providing performance of less than 30W when the computer is not running.
"ASUS Korea Manager Jeong Sang-yoon confidently stated, 'ASUS has poured all the know-how accumulated through laptops and all-in-one PCs into the ROG GR8 II.' He added, 'We hope this mini PC, which is small and light in body but offers large and heavy performance, will satisfy all the requirements of gamers.'"
