Diva Pro headphones incorporate stereo headset technology
AS3415 includes ambient noise attenuation solution

ams and FIIL, a Chinese consumer electronics audio design and manufacturing company, announced that ams's noise-canceling technology was used as a key component in the FIIL Diva Pro high-end headphones, which won the CES 2017 Innovation Award.

Diva Pro headphones offer a suite of advanced features, including touch controls, motion detection, My AudioFilter customization, and storage capacity for audio content, and support superior noise cancellation performance to ensure a clear listening experience even in environments with high levels of ambient noise.

The design of the Diva Pro headphones, which won the Innovation Award, includes a noise cancellation system for stereo headsets based on the ams AS3435 analog active noise cancellation (ANC) IC. This noise cancellation system provides ambient noise attenuation of over 28 dB and total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.1%.

The AS3415, a related product for the AS3435 feedback-mode ANC IC and feedforward topology, is an ambient noise attenuation solution adopted by almost all noise-canceling headphone and earphone manufacturers worldwide.



Along with the supply of the AS3435, ams also provided measurement technology that can be integrated into FIIL's Diva Pro system design. ams' engineering experts worked closely with FIIL to perform accurate simulation and modeling of the Diva Pro machine design, thereby matching the noise cancellation circuit behavior to the passive acoustic characteristics of these headphones.
