NXP announced that the Android Things platform supports the new Google Cloud IoT Core.

Google Cloud IoT Core is a fully managed service that enables users to easily and securely connect to and manage devices globally. Cloud IoT Core includes various Google services that can be utilized for smart city initiatives and deployments.

The NXP Android Things platform, developed through a partnership with Google, features the i.MX application processor. It helps various groups of developers, manufacturers, and OEMs implement cost-effective and feature-rich solutions. This platform is designed to enable the rapid development of Android-based IoT devices at a reasonable price.
