Nutanix Expands Cloud Platform Software Support

Nutanix announced that it has expanded support for its Enterprise Cloud Platform™ software to Hewlett Packard Enterprises® ProLiant® rackmount servers and Cisco UCS® B-series blade servers.
As Nutanix adds hardware options for its Enterprise Cloud Platform software, it is expected to gain entry into the market not only with its own appliances and those of global partners like Dell and Lenovo, but also with HPE ProLiant and Cisco UCS servers already in use in numerous corporate and cloud data centers.
Nutanix software is currently available on three of the four leading x86 server platforms. Nutanix holds over 52% of the global server market by shipments and is considering expanding its software support to enterprise server vendors, which shipped more than 5 million servers in 2016.
Nutanix announced 'Nutanix Go' along with expanding the range of hardware supported by its enterprise cloud platform software. This program provides enterprise cloud infrastructure within operating budgets and supports flexible expansion or reduction of infrastructure. It is expected to free customers from the burden of long-term capital investment by linking it to the experience of using the public cloud. It reflects the needs of companies seeking to build a cloud environment and appropriately blend cost models when building or expanding their cloud environments.
Enterprises looking to build enterprise clouds, as well as Nutanix's go-to-market and system integration (SI) partners, seek to accelerate validation and testing of new server platforms by completely abstracting the operating system and underlying hardware. Nutanix offers an enhanced, one-click hardware validation package called Metis, which automates the deployment, installation, and scaling of Nutanix software on commercially available x86 platforms. Significant investments over time have led to rapid support and an expanded portfolio of partner and third-party hardware platforms.

Designers can improve product design efficiency through Siemens' proprietary convergent modeling technology and the newly integrated topology optimization technology. Convergent modeling simplifies work on geometries composed of a combination of facets, surfaces, and solids, or geometries imported from third-party CAD files, as well as geometries generated through topology optimization.

VMware Hosts 'Cloud Forum 2017'

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
