Lenovo Launches Business-Friendly 2-in-1 ThinkPad X1 Yoga
Published2017.05.29 16:57Lenovo Korea announced the launch of an upgraded version of the ThinkPad X1 Yoga (hereinafter X1 Yoga), a premium professional 2-in-1 laptop. The X1 Yoga is characterized by providing greater usability in business environments by combining the powerful performance of Lenovo's premium PC lineup, the X1 series, with the flexibility of the Yoga series, which rotates 360 degrees.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga
The upgraded X1 Yoga (14-inch) has been reborn as a business laptop, equipped with a Core i7 processor and improved battery life to 15 hours. Along with this, it features a Full HD (1920x1080) IPS touch display, up to 512GB PCIe SSD, and Windows 10 Pro, providing an environment optimized for business. Additionally, tasks such as writing and sketching on the display are possible using the ThinkPad Pen Pro, a stylus pen that automatically charges when stored in the main body. The ThinkPad Pen Pro, upgraded with the X1 Yoga, has been redesigned with a special synthetic rubber (elastomer) tip to provide a more natural writing experience.
The X1 Yoga is crafted from carbon fiber of the same grade used in satellites and guarantees exceptional robustness and stability, having undergone a total of 12 military-grade tests and over 200 durability tests. Its lightweight carbon design reduces the weight and thickness to 1.36kg and 17.05mm, respectively, making it easy to carry. With a 360-degree rotating display, it can be utilized in four modes—laptop, tablet, tent, and stand—depending on the environment. It features a Lift & Lock function that automatically retracts the keyboard when the display angle is adjusted to switch modes, protecting the keyboard and preventing unnecessary key input.
This product also offers enhanced external expandability for the convenience of business users. It is equipped with HDMI, three USB 3.0 ports, and two Thunderbolt 3 ports that support transfer speeds up to eight times faster than connecting a 4K display.

Lenovo Korea launches 7th-generation ThinkPad processor series on open markets.
Lenovo Korea announced that it is selling the upgraded 'ThinkPad T' series and 'ThinkPad X270' with Intel's latest 7th generation Core processor Kaby Lake through open markets including Auction, Gmarket, 11st, and Interpark, in addition to its official online store. The newly upgraded 'ThinkPad X270' is a 12.5-inch ultrabook featuring a weight of 1.3kg and a battery capable of up to 21 hours of usage, making it suitable for mobile business users. The ThinkPad T series consists of the 14-inch T470, T470s, T470p and the 15.6-inch T570, delivering one step higher performance and battery life compared to the previous generation. In particular, the ThinkPad T470p is a product focused on high specifications for enterprise users who use professional-grade programs. This product is equipped with an IPS display supporting WQHD (2560x1440) resolution, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX discrete graphics, 32GB DDR4 memory, up to 12 hours of battery life, and an Intel 7th generation Core i7-7820HQ processor.

Lenovo Korea has announced the launch of the 'IdeaPad 320S', a 14-inch notebook. The 'IdeaPad 320S' is equipped with up to 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, and 256GB SSD to deliver fast responsiveness and stable performance. It features a 14-inch full HD wide-viewing angle IPS LED display, enabling convenient multitasking with multiple windows open simultaneously while delivering clear image quality and color reproduction through its wide viewing angle. Additionally, the notebook display can be opened up to 180 degrees for use, and a full-size keyboard including numeric keypad has been integrated to enhance user convenience. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers.
