Schneider Electric announced that it has been selected as the 'Data Center Cabinets and Racks Product of the Year' at the 'DCS Awards 2017'.
This award-winning single-rack micro data center solution was recognized for its excellence, utilizing hyperconverged technology for efficient operation and its modular design for easy installation. This award was selected based on the preferences of data center professionals and customers.
Schneider Electric implements on-premises micro data center solutions in hybrid and edge data center architectures. Unconstrained by distance, space, or environmental constraints, it enables cost-effective and rapid data center infrastructure design anywhere.
Additionally, there are various standardized models, and they are pre-verified modular, making installation easy and safe. In addition, it has the advantage of supporting the same infrastructure while meeting the diverse needs of data centers, such as data intensive, data latency, and bandwidth edge computing loads.

Schneider to Unveil Integrated Power Protection Solutions at World IT Show
슈나이더 일렉트릭 코리아는 코엑스에서 5월 24일부터 27일까지 월드IT쇼에 데이터센터 솔루션파트너사인 케이엠파워와 공동으로 참가해 통합 전원 보호 솔루션을 선보인다고 밝혔다. 가정, 오피스, 소규모 사업장에서부터 데이터센터까지 각각의 규모와 특성에 적합한 UPS(무정전 전원 공급 장치)를 선보이며, 네트워크 및 서버룸을 위한 인프라 솔루션을 전시한다. 이번 전시회에서는 가정 통신 장치와 PC등 가정용 전자 제품을 정전이나 불안정한 전력 공급으로부터 보호하는 홈 솔루션부터 데이터센터를 비롯한 비즈니스의 핵심 장비와 애플리케이션을 보호하는 비즈니스 솔루션까지 다양한 전원 보호 포트폴리오가 공개된다. 대표적인 전원 보호 솔루션으로 스마트 UPS(Smart-UPS) 제품군, 시메트라 PX(Symmetra PX)와 백-UPS(Back-UPS) 를 전시하여 중소규모 IT 환경을 위한 최적의 인프라 솔루션을 선보인다.

Schneider Hosts Smart Factory Process Automation Conference
Schneider Electric Korea announced that it successfully held the Smart Factory Process Automation Conference 2017 at MVL Hotel in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do on the 8th. The conference was held to officially announce the opening of Schneider Electric's Yeosu branch by inviting industry officials from the oil and gas, and petrochemical sectors in Yeosu, and to showcase Schneider's process automation solutions. The conference was well-attended with over 100 employees from major domestic and international companies including LG Chem, GS Caltex, Lotte Chemical, and POSCO ICT. The conference was attended by more than 20 employees of Schneider Electric Systems Korea, which oversees Schneider Electric's process automation business, including Executive Vice President Jeon Seok-bae. Starting with Executive Vice President Jeon Seok-bae's keynote speech, a total of six seminar sessions were conducted, with each session introducing Schneider Electric's next-generation process automation solutions. In addition, demonstrations of approximately 10 types of products were conducted, including the Foxboro Evo process automation system, Triconex, and Modicon PLC. Furthermore, customized process automation solution consulting tailored to business needs was provided to customers pursuing process efficiency and safety, which received great response. The Foxboro Evo process automation system showcased at the conference is characterized by excellent fault tolerance and highly available control functions. Through the non-stop component product line, it collects business-valuable data and shares it with field operators, and supports insightful decision-making based on the collected data.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. This collaboration is interpreted as a move to design security and governance together in corporate environments where AI adoption is expanding.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
