Schneider Electric Software Korea announced the launch of System Platform 2017, which enhances operational efficiency and productivity by advancing plant data systems. Based on Wonderware, System Platform 2017 is a data standard platform that incorporates industrial Internet of Things (IoT) technology.

It collects and analyzes vast amounts of process data and visualizes it to support not only field operations but also management in efficiently operating plants and making optimal business decisions.

System Platform 2017 features a hierarchical structure based on a plant model, enabling integrated centralized data management from the lower to the upper levels of the plant. It integrates data ranging from lower-level sensors to heterogeneous PLCs and equipment, and integrates various process management and control systems—such as SCADA, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Construction Management Systems (CMMS)—onto this platform according to customer requirements. Based on this foundation, it provides Operator Training Systems (OTS) and extended solutions for optimizing process workflows.

Furthermore, data can be visualized through graphics and enables an easy interface and smart navigation. In addition, it accelerates the speed of value creation, allowing companies to expand more rapidly, and enables the easy integration of next-generation technologies such as IIoT, cloud, and mobile technologies into plants.

The modular incremental approach ensures backward compatibility with existing Wonderware-based solutions. Reduce downtime caused by maintaining applications or changes in production systems, and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
