Wacom has announced the DTH-1152, a compact design LCD tablet for business environments that perform electronic signature and electronic document work. Combining Wacom’s leading pen input technology with multi-touch screen technology, the DTH-1152 is primarily used in banks, hospitals, insurance companies and the public sector, and provides a user-friendly paperless electronic signature environment.
The DTH-1152 is compact and space-efficient, and features a vivid 10.1-inch full HD screen. Users can use the touchscreen function to scroll through documents more intuitively, and conveniently check documents by moving and zooming in/out.
You can annotate, write and sign documents with the pen just like writing on paper. The pen, which is powered by Wacom’s patented electromagnetic resonance (EMR) technology, captures and securely stores biometric signatures when used with signature software.
The display features anti-glare functionality. This product features Wacom's unique 3-in-1 cable design, providing standard USB, as well as HDMI and VGA ports for connection to video/image devices.
Standardized video connectivity provides flexibility in a variety of virtual desktop environments, and the DTH-1152 also provides emulation capabilities to support existing virtualized environments via USB connections.
Wacom tablets also support the latest RSA/AES encryption to safely protect and process signed data exchanged between the pen tablet and workstation.

Wacom Launches 'Electronic Pen' with Pressure Sensing for Realistic Sketching
Wacom has launched Bamboo Sketch, a smart stylus for use with iOS-based mobile devices. A Wacom representative stated, "It feels like sketching with a real pen and paper on iOS devices." Shortcut key configuration is available, and in addition to the standard nib, the stylus supports additional nibs including a soft type and a hard type so users can change the nib according to their preferences. When the stylus is connected with dedicated apps, it provides 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity. A dedicated case is provided for new purchasers, which can accommodate the pen, replacement nibs, and a USB charger, reducing the risk of loss and facilitating charging. Additionally, when connected to an iPad or iPhone via Bluetooth, the battery can be used for 16 hours.

Wacom has announced the PTH-111 Wacom Clipboard, a smart pad that converts documents signed using regular paper and ink into digital format in real time. The product is part of Wacom's signature solution product line and includes functionality to capture and attach handwritten signatures based on biometric recognition as files. Digital documents are stored on local PCs and immediately uploaded to servers and cloud services, enabling easy document management. Wacom Clipboard provides a method to digitize documents and store them easily and securely without changing the paper-based work environment currently used in the field.
