Infineon Wins Bosch Global Partner Award in Recognition of Excellence
Published2017.07.18 15:45Infineon Technologies announced that it received the “Bosch Global Supplier Award” from Robert Bosch.
Bosch, the world's largest automotive parts supplier, presented this award to Infineon for the sixth time among thousands of suppliers. In recognition of its outstanding quality, Infineon received the "Best Quality Award" from Toyota in April of this year and the "Supplier of the Year Award" from Denso in June.
This award recognizes the Bosch Group's excellence in quality, innovation, and delivery in the manufacturing and supply of products or services. Infineon supplies Bosch with radar chips for ADAS, microcontrollers for engine management, and chips for body and convenience applications.
Dr. Volkmar Denner, Chairman of Bosch, said, “In an increasingly connected world, partnerships are becoming more important. Hierarchical value chains are transforming into value-added networks.”
Dr. Reinhard Ploss, CEO of Infineon Technologies, said, “Infineon’s quality, continuity, and innovation are recognized by our customers. Infineon enables the realization of electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and secure cars.” "I am very proud of the Infineon employees who achieved these results," he said.

Infineon Launches Sensor That Measures Speed Fastly and Accurately
Infineon Technologies has launched the Hall sensor TLE4922 and the "Speed Sensor 2Go" kit to enable fast and accurate speed measurement. The TLE4922 was developed for automotive and industrial applications where fast and accurate speed measurement is critical. It is suitable for speed detection of crankshafts and transmissions in two-wheelers and three-wheelers, speed detection in industrial sites and building automation, and electric drive control. The TLE4922 Hall sensor can accurately measure changes in magnetic fields, making it applicable for speed detection of various types of wheels including magnetic encoder wheels and ferromagnetic gear wheels. Additionally, the TLE4922 offers the advantage of reducing system costs because it provides high air gap performance and shift accuracy while allowing a simple and cost-effective back-bias magnet design.

Infineon Sponsors Intelligent Model Car Competition
인피니언 테크놀로지스는 한양대학교 미래자동차연구소와 미래자동차공학과가 주관하는 지능형모형차 경진대회를 공식 후원한다. 2017 지능형모형차 경진대회는 13일(목) 한양대학교 올림픽체육관에서 개최되며, 전국 50여개 대학, 100개 팀, 450여명의 대학생들이 참가한다. 참가 대학생들은 인피니언의 32비트 멀티코어 마이크로컨트롤러유닛(MCU) AURIX™와 모터 구동 IC로 구성된 보드를 사용해 주변 환경 인지, 제어 알고리즘 설계, 모터 제어 기술을 적용하여 경진대회에 출전할 모형차를 직접 제작하였다. 경진대회는 전체 참가팀을 두 개의 그룹으로 나누어 트랙을 완주하고, 여기서 상위 20개 팀을 선정해 본선을 치루는 방식으로 진행된다.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
데이터브릭스가 3월 24일 개방형 에이전틱 SIEM ‘레이크워치’를 공개하며 보안 시장에 진입했다. 이 제품은 보안, IT, 비즈니스 데이터를 단일 환경에서 통합 분석해 AI 기반 위협 탐지와 조사를 지원하는 것이 핵심이다. 회사는 고비용 구조 때문에 일부 데이터를 포기해온 기존 보안관제의 한계를 줄이고, 개방형 형식과 생태계를 바탕으로 대규모 데이터 분석과 자동화를 가능하게 한다고 설명했다. 레이크워치는 현재 프라이빗 프리뷰로 제공되며, 어도비와 드롭박스 등이 초기 고객으로 언급됐다. 데이터브릭스는 앤트로픽과 협력을 확대하고 안티매터, SiftD.ai 인수도 함께 발표했다.
