FLIR Systems Launches Thermal Imaging Camera Drone Kit

In addition to accidents and disasters, it is also effective in checking the condition of insulation on residential or commercial roofs, damage caused by leaks, flooding, or other causes, and whether repairs have been completed.
“Previously, helicopters had to be mobilized to investigate disaster or accident sites such as floods or wildfires, and workers had to climb up and down tall ladders with regular cameras in hand to inspect building roofs, but with FLIR’s aerial inspection kit, there is no need to take on such costs or risks,” explained a FLIR representative.

How to raise the lagging domestic drone industry to the world's top 5
지난 18일, 드론 산업 육성을 위한 제도적 지원 근거 마련의 일환으로 항공안전법과 항공사업법의 개정안이 국회 본회의를 통과하였다. 이로 인해 그동안 금지됐던 드론의 상용 목적 야간 시간대 및 가시거리 밖 비행이 가능해진다. 올해 전세계 드론 시장 규모가 60억 달러(약 6조 8천697억원)에 달하고, 2020년까지 112억 달러(약 12조 8천 288억원)이상의 규모로 성장할 것이라고 예상하는 가운데 중국은 소형 드론 시장의 90%를 차지하고 있다. 이에 비해 국내의 드론 산업화는 뒤쳐지고 있는 상황이다. 국토교통부는 한국교통연구원, 한국항공우주연구원과 함께 ‘드론산업발전기본계획’에 대한 의견수렴을 위해 공청회를 개최했다.

Song Ki-han, Director of the Korea Transport Institute, stated this on the 19th at a public hearing on the drone industry development master plan, explaining the current status, market outlook, fostering targets, and strategies for the domestic drone industry. In response, the public hearing proceeded with industry, academia, and research experts offering advice on content that should be supplemented in the plan. The drone industry master plan addresses the need for government-wide support based on a mid- to long-term master plan in the drone industry, which is still in a growth phase. The targets include expanding the market size to 4.1 trillion won by 2026, entering the world's top 5 in technological competitiveness, and commercializing 60,000 industrial drones.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
데이터브릭스가 3월 24일 개방형 에이전틱 SIEM ‘레이크워치’를 공개하며 보안 시장에 진입했다. 이 제품은 보안, IT, 비즈니스 데이터를 단일 환경에서 통합 분석해 AI 기반 위협 탐지와 조사를 지원하는 것이 핵심이다. 회사는 고비용 구조 때문에 일부 데이터를 포기해온 기존 보안관제의 한계를 줄이고, 개방형 형식과 생태계를 바탕으로 대규모 데이터 분석과 자동화를 가능하게 한다고 설명했다. 레이크워치는 현재 프라이빗 프리뷰로 제공되며, 어도비와 드롭박스 등이 초기 고객으로 언급됐다. 데이터브릭스는 앤트로픽과 협력을 확대하고 안티매터, SiftD.ai 인수도 함께 발표했다.
