Canston Acoustics is launching the T55 Restonica (hereinafter Restonica), a curved TV soundbar.

The large-screen TV market has recently been undergoing changes. Thickness has become thinner, size has increased, and displays have begun to take on a curved rather than flat form. However, consumers report that while the focus on external features has improved picture quality, the sound quality has conversely declined. This is because the slimmer design has resulted in insufficient space for the sound system. Canston's new T55 Restonica is expected to enhance both aesthetic harmony with large curved TVs and sound quality.

The Canston Soundbar T55 Restonica features a curved design that blends seamlessly with curved TVs 45 inches or larger. Another notable feature is its slim form factor, which allows for a clean audio system simply by placing it in front of the TV. The bottom is equipped with wall-mount holes, enabling it to be installed as a wall-mounted unit to suit your interior style.

You can enjoy home theater-like sound with a single soundbar. The top features a metal grille that exudes a luxurious atmosphere, and the front interior is equipped with 60W full-range units on both sides to create a natural 3D spatial effect. The tweeter, responsible for the ultra-high frequencies, enables stable reproduction, and the rear of the product features a dual air duct system on both sides to deliver low frequencies.

With the Bluetooth 4.0 chipset, you can listen to music using a smartphone or via the USB port.

In addition to the USB port, it supports optical, coaxial, and two AUX (RCA, 3.5mm) input terminals, ensuring minimal sound loss during connection and allowing connection to audio devices other than TVs. In particular, the included remote control enhances convenience, and the ability to adjust sound effects for music and movies with a single button enriches the soundstage.

Canstone CEO Han Jong-min explained the background of the product launch, stating, “Although the popularity of curved TVs has recently surged, there was no soundbar to match them. Along with the aesthetics, I wanted to develop a soundbar that could provide realistic sound by reinforcing the audio quality, which often falls short compared to the TV's picture quality.”
