China’s electronics trade show, ‘ELEXCON & Embedded Expo 2017,’ is set to showcase five key technologies that offer a glimpse into the future of the electronics industry.

Key technologies include next-generation smartphone technology, sensing technology: smart home, AI, smart medical, IoT, automotive electronics, vehicle networking, motors, batteries, and electric control, global distributors and suppliers focusing on faster internet services, and charging classrooms in preparation for 2018.

ElexCon 2017 is scheduled to be held from December 21 to 23, 2017, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, where approximately 500 exhibitors and 50,000 industry professionals are expected to gather. Pre-registration is currently underway online and via WeChat.

This exhibition is expected to showcase over 1,000 products and solutions related to smartphones, smart cars, smart hardware, as well as sensing technology and wireless communication solutions. For example, companies such as Kyocera, Murata, Citizen, Holitech, Shineway, ECT, and Tri-ring are expected to showcase the latest smartphone technologies, including full screen, facial recognition, 3D sensing, wireless charging, new materials, and process technologies.

In addition, participants can observe the development of smartphones emerging in other markets such as automotive electronics and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Products introduced at Elexcon 2017 include: a small blood flow sensor developed by Kyocera; a temperature sensor bed with an embedded MEMS sensor and NCU series provided by Murata; a vibration feedback module and multi-sensor integration module for IoT developed by Alps; wireless modules and sensor nodes provided by SunTec; a solution that solves gateway problems; and an AI rear camera being researched and developed by Kyocera that can identify people, cars, bicycles, motorcycles, etc., to protect the driver.

At Elexcon 2017, various conferences, seminars, and training sessions are also scheduled to be held so that participants can obtain more information.
