Siemens PLM Software announced that it has been named a Leader in Gartner's 2017 Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Gartner released its first-ever report on Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM). The Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. The ability to execute section includes a comprehensive assessment of companies' products and services, overall performance, sales/pricing, market responsiveness/performance, marketing, customer experience, and operations. The completeness of vision section comprehensively evaluates companies' market understanding, marketing strategy, sales strategy, offering (product) strategy, business model, industry strategy, innovation, and geographic strategy.
