The new product's 'dual inverter compressor' has two cylinders, which are devices that compress refrigerant. Compared to existing inverter compressors, it can compress 15% more refrigerant, greatly improving efficiency and performance.

Heat pump dryers operate by utilizing the temperature difference created by circulating refrigerant. Therefore, the compressor that circulates the refrigerant becomes a key component that determines the performance and efficiency of the dryer. The warm refrigerant heats the inside of the dryer and turns the moisture in the clothes into vapor, and the cold refrigerant turns this vapor into water and discharges it outside. It's similar to the way water droplets form around a cold cup of ice.

The 'inverter' that controls the speed of the motor inside the compressor has also become more powerful. LG Electronics has expanded the range of speeds at which the compressor operates by more than 40% compared to before, allowing the product to operate efficiently only to the extent necessary.

LG Electronics provides a 10-year free warranty for both the dual inverter compressor and inverter motor installed in the new product.

The 'smart timer' applied to the new product has greatly improved the accuracy of the expected drying time displayed on the product. The sensor inside the product detects the weight of the laundry and calculates the expected time. Customers can more accurately predict the drying time, which is convenient.

The new product also features Wi-Fi functionality. Customers can use a total of 9 additional 'download courses', including sportswear, jeans, lingerie, and air freshener, through a dedicated application.

You can also receive real-time notifications about product status, such as water emptying, door opening, and drying completion, and you can also control the product remotely. In particular, users can control the dryer with their voice by linking it to LG Electronics' artificial intelligence speaker, 'ThinQ Hub'.
