LG Electronics partners with Meridian Audio to create premium sound.

Meridian is a leading British high-end audio specialist that has developed not only speakers but also digital sound processing technologies and digital audio formats and standards. It is renowned for harmoniously integrating analog and digital audio technologies. It launched the world's first active speaker with a built-in amplifier and designed the '3D Surround Sound System' for the luxury SUV 'Range Rover'.

Since the beginning of this year, LG Electronics has been developing solutions capable of delivering the best sound by applying high-quality audio technology optimized for soundbars, portable speakers, and more, in collaboration with Meridian.

LG Electronics plans to unveil new products, including soundbars and portable speakers, jointly developed with Meridian, at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, USA, next January.
