ASUS announced that it will be exhibiting two ultra-light and slim monitors at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, USA.

'CES 2018' is held under the theme of 'The Future of Smart Cities', and in line with the theme of this exhibition, ASUS unveiled two models, the ASUS ProArt series PQ22UC model and the ASUS ZenScreen series MB16AP model, which focus on the performance and portability that professional users demand and efficient use of office space.

The PQ22UC model, a ProArt series model, uses an OLED panel to provide a much higher contrast ratio than conventional panels and ASUS ProArt Calibration Technology to provide more accurate, vivid, and distortion-free color expression.

The world's first 21.6-inch 4K UHD resolution OLED panel is applied, boasting a more perfect color expression than actual RGB color and DCI-P3 99% color accuracy, and with 10-bit color support, a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 that is significantly improved compared to existing panels, and an incredible response speed of 0.1ms, you can enjoy video and game content without any screen blurring.

The PQ22UC model is equipped with ASUS's proprietary ProArt Calibration Technology, and offers high versatility by connecting via Micro HDMI and USB Type-C, and can be used on desktops, laptops, and Windows You can get the same output regardless of the operating system or Mac operating system.

Not only is its performance noteworthy, but its design is also noteworthy. Conventional professional monitors typically take up a lot of desk space and are cumbersome to move. However, the PQ22UC model features an ultra-slim OLED panel that weighs just one-third of a standard 22-inch monitor, and features a detachable stand that folds flat for increased portability.

For users seeking enhanced mobility and affordability, the ZenScreen MB16AP model is highly attractive. The MB16AP is the world's thinnest and lightest Full HD portable USB monitor with a built-in battery. Measuring 8mm thick, with a 15.6-inch screen, and weighing just 900g, it boasts a built-in 7,800mAh battery, providing up to four hours of autonomous operation, allowing it to be connected to any Android-based device, including laptops and mobile phones, without draining the power of the connected device.

Additionally, it adopts a hybrid USB-C type port, enabling both battery charging and video transmission with a single port. This hybrid solution is compatible with any PC equipped with a USB-C or USB 3.0 port.

Additionally, the MB16AP comes with a separate 1mm thin foldable smart case and features ASUS' blue light filter and eye care technology to minimize eye fatigue and damage.
