ASUS Launches Mechanical Keyboard Suitable for Gaming
Published2018.01.17 10:55ASUS announced that it will be launching an additional lineup of modular mechanical keyboards, ASUS ROG CLAYMORE, in Korea.
Following the red switch model, the newly released ASUS ROG CLAYMORE (brown switch) and tenkeyless ASUS ROG CLAYMORE CORE (blue switch) are detachable mechanical keyboards with genuine German Cherry MX RGB switches, boasting accurate and responsive keystrokes.
The ASUS ROG CLAYMORE series uses Cherry MX RGB with excellent key durability of 50 million times, and the non-click brown switch reduces strain on the fingers with appropriate key pressure, making it suitable for long-term use, and is recently becoming more preferred by users. In addition, the blue switches that are released as Tenkeyless are also the most preferred products by users who are new to mechanical keyboards due to their refreshing key feel.
The ASUS ROG CLAYMORE series allows gamers to freely connect the number pad to the left or right side, allowing the mouse to be used comfortably by both left and right-handed users. Macros can also be used freely with either hand, and the keypad can be detached for use as a tenkeyless mouse.
The keyboard frame is made of aluminum with a sophisticated Mayan motif, ensuring a unique design and a much higher level of finish and durability.
The CLAYMORE CORE (blue switches) product, for users who want a compact keyboard, is based on blue switches that provide a refreshing key feel and supports AURA SYNC for gorgeous customization. It can be linked with ASUS ROG motherboards, graphics cards, or mice to set various LED effects according to the user's convenience.
The Aura Sync LED lighting option found on all ROG products is also applied to ROG CLAYMORE. When using ASUS ROG motherboards, graphics cards, and other products, you can link various LED effects to personalize them to suit your convenience.
ASUS ROG CLAYMORE users with ASUS motherboards can access system boot, fan speed control, overclocking, and BIOS via ASUS Fan Xpert software, as well as ROG Sync, brightness adjustment, fan speed control, and motherboard control with simple operations.
ASUS CLAYMORE can store up to six user profiles (five customized options and one default profile) on the built-in flash memory on the fly. With intuitive software that allows users to control more easily, keys, lighting, and macro settings can be customized to their preferences, and statistical data such as stroke counts during gaming are also provided.
The official release price of the ASUS ROG CLAYMORE brown switch English version is 299,000 won, and the CLAYMORE CORE blue switch is 209,000 won.

ASUS has announced the domestic launch of the ASUS B250 MINING EXPERT, a dedicated cryptocurrency mining motherboard featuring 19 PCIe (PCI Express) expansion slots—the most on a single motherboard. The B250 MINING EXPERT, ASUS's cryptocurrency mining motherboard, supports up to 8 graphics card drivers each based on AMD and NVIDIA for multi-GPU configuration. This enables the establishment of a mining environment configured with up to 16 graphics cards when using AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. Designed based on the Intel B250 chipset that supports Intel 6th generation Skylake and 7th generation Kaby Lake processors, this product features three ATX 12V (24-pin) power connectors to ensure stable operation and support of the 19 PCIe slots.
