LG Electronics Launches Value Smartphone 'LG X4+'
Published2018.01.19 14:05LG Electronics will introduce the 'LG X4+' through the three mobile carriers at the end of January, equipped with premium smartphone convenience features at a price in the 300,000 won range.
The LG X4+ features LG Pay, a smartphone payment service that allows users to make payments just like a credit card by placing the phone against a terminal after entering a fingerprint or password. Recently, the service has further enhanced convenience by expanding its scope to include online payments, starting with Shinhan Card and Lotte Card.
The 'LG X4+' provides high-quality sound. Equipped with a Hi-Fi sound DAC, users can enjoy sound quality close to the original. The 'LG X4+' supports up to 32-bit 192kHz, the highest level among digital audio sources.
In addition, LG Electronics has incorporated features such as Finger Touch, FM radio that can be enjoyed without worrying about data usage, and a front wide-angle camera. It has obtained the Mil-Spec, a military standard recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense, certifying its stability in six categories: shock, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity.
Lee Sang-kyu, Head of LG Electronics’ Korea Mobile Group, emphasized, “We will continue to provide opportunities for customers to more easily experience the differentiated design and performance unique to LG’s premium smartphones.”

LG Electronics Launches 200,000 Won Smartphone with Front Wide-Angle Camera
LG Electronics is launching the LG X401, a value-oriented smartphone with a sleek design and a front-facing ultra-wide-angle camera. The product, which will be released through SK Telecom and LG U+, is characterized by a 5-megapixel, 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera on the front. Considering that typical smartphone camera field-of-view is approximately 70~80 degrees, LG X401 users can capture images more than 50% wider even when shooting at the same distance from the front camera. Users can capture a wide background behind a person in a selfie or fit 7~8 people in a single frame without using a selfie stick. LG Electronics has also equipped the rear with a high-resolution 13-megapixel camera.

LG Pay adds convenience features and expands payment-accepting stores.
LG Electronics' smartphone payment service LG Pay is becoming richer with a significant increase in the number of stores where payments are accepted and the addition of various convenient features. Starting from the 29th, LG Pay can now be used at approximately 3,300 Shinsegae Group affiliate stores including Shinsegae Department Store and E-mart, as well as at approximately 6,000 SPC Group affiliate stores such as Paris Baguette, Baskin-Robbins, and Dunkin' Donuts. LG Pay is a smartphone service that processes payments identical to credit cards by simply holding the smartphone up to a payment terminal after entering a fingerprint or password on the smartphone. It is convenient because there is no need to carry multiple cards such as credit cards and membership cards, and it also offers superior security because payments are processed using virtual card numbers.
