Extending the free warranty period for magnetron products to strengthen the status of home appliance brand

LG Electronics is extending the free warranty period for the 'Smart Inverter Magnetron' installed in all Dios microwave ovens and microwave ovens from 3 years to 10 years.

The 'magnetron' is a key component of microwave ovens and microwave ovens, generating the heat needed to cook food through high frequency waves. The 'smart inverter magnetron', which adds inverter technology to the magnetron, enables strong output and delicate temperature control, allowing food to be heated and defrosted evenly.

While a fixed-speed magnetron turns high-frequency waves of a certain intensity on and off, a lightwave oven equipped with a smart inverter magnetron freely adjusts the intensity of the high-frequency waves and reduces cooking time.



LG Electronics has installed 'Smart Inverter Magnetron' in all of its lightwave ovens and microwave ovens. In order to provide differentiated customer service, the free warranty period for the inverter core components installed in refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, dehumidifiers, and water purifiers is being extended to 10 years.
