Used to test transmission specifications in various fields and detect RF problems

Siemens announced the acquisition of Sarokal Test Systems Oy, which provides test solutions for fronthaul networks.

Fronthaul is a wired network connecting central and distributed devices, transmitting voice or data received from each base station to a server. Sarokal products are used by chipset manufacturers, fronthaul equipment manufacturers, and telecom operators to develop and test 4G/5G network devices, from the initial design stage through implementation and field testing.

Sarokal's products are used to test transmission specifications across a wide range of applications. Sarokal's tester product line covers the entire development and maintenance workflow for testing cellular and wired transmission systems. This technology is specifically designed to detect radio frequency (RF) issues. Sarokal's testing model was designed from the outset to reflect the requirements for 5G testing and to be usable in both virtual (digital) and physical test environments.
