Lattice Semiconductor announced the expansion of its new Lattice Snap wireless connector family to enable broader adoption of 60GHz wireless technology in consumer and embedded applications.

Based on Lattice's production-proven SiBEAM 60 GHz technology, the new Lattice Snap module enables manufacturers to easily integrate short-range, high-speed 60 GHz wireless links into their products. Furthermore, Lattice has included Snap modules in the Snap Evaluation Kit, which are compliant with regulatory requirements in several countries and regions, further streamlining the design process, accelerating customer prototyping and time-to-market.

To enable faster prototyping for both existing and new customers, Lattice offers the Snap Evaluation Kit. This kit includes the Snap module, system design guidelines, and improved debug tools.
