Pepper, a robot with human -like emotions
Haier and SoftBank Robotics Group (SBRG) are exploring the smart service robot market through a collaboration. The starting point is Pepper, a humanoid robot with a human-like appearance that connects to various smart devices and equipment. Pepper enhances human-machine interaction through active and emotional interaction. For example, Pepper can control Haier smart devices in the home and act as a butler tailored to the preferences of family members.



“Service robots are a natural extension of our business,” said Wange Ye, Vice President of Haier Home Appliance Industry Group. “We will continue to enhance the features and functions that service robots provide to consumers within the smart home sector and accelerate the development of the service robot industry.” He emphasized, “We will also explore new ways to use robots in both home and commercial settings.”

Safety and Assets, 4th Industrial Revolution Support Force 'LTE-M IoT'
Sercomm has launched a series of LTE-M IoT devices. LTE-M IoT devices, featuring extended transmission range, extended battery life, and mobility, offer solutions for youth and senior citizen safety, asset protection, smart meters, and transportation and equipment monitoring. The new generation human-machine interface 'CDS1'
SCHURTER has launched the CDS1, a switch-sized input HMI utilizing capacitive touch technology. Touch allows for convenient movement and rotation on the touchscreen, much like a smartphone. The product is plug-and-play, allowing you to connect it using the provided machine simulator and get started right away. You can select your own image or activate it simply by moving the OLED display. Touching the home LED returns you to the home screen.
