LG Signature Welcomes Guests at Saudi Airport's Premium Lounge
Published2018.03.15 11:07LG Electronics is capturing the attention of airport users by displaying 'LG SIGNATURE' in a high-end airport lounge in Saudi Arabia.
LG Electronics is welcoming premium customers by displaying 'LG Signature' products, including OLED TVs, washing machines, refrigerators, and humidifying air purifiers, at the top-tier (GVIP; General Very Important Person) lounge at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This lounge is accessible only to customers holding a membership worth over $10,000, and has an annual average of about 130,000 users. King Abdulaziz International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Saudi Arabia due to business, Islamic pilgrimages, and other activities.
LG Electronics launched 'LG Signature' in Saudi Arabia last August. It provides differentiated services to purchasing customers, such as product installation within 24 hours of purchase and a visit by a dedicated 'LG Signature' repair technician within 24 hours of a service request. In the Middle East, product installation is generally possible 2 to 3 days after purchase.
UAE industrial designer Khalid Shafar commented, “'LG SIGNATURE,' incorporating the latest technology, not only achieves the balance of form and function that is a condition of good design but also presents a new dimension of lifestyle.”
Since last year, LG Electronics has been expanding the launch of its ultra-premium 'LG Signature' in major Middle Eastern countries, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Since first introducing 'LG Signature' in 2016, it has been introduced to over 40 countries worldwide to date.
Cha Kuk-hwan, Vice President and Head of LG Electronics' Middle East and Africa region, emphasized, “We will continue to devise differentiated marketing strategies so that premium customers in the Middle East can experience the overwhelming performance and refined design of 'LG SIGNATURE'.”

A completely new kitchen 'Signature Kitchen Suite'
LG Electronics is participating in the '2018 Seoul Living Design Fair' and accelerating its strategy to penetrate the domestic built-in market by emphasizing the innovative performance and design of the Signature Kitchen Suite. LG Electronics created a booth spanning 180 square meters (㎡) using Signature Kitchen Suite products, designed like an art installation. In particular, LG Electronics collaborated with the renowned space design group 'Voidplanning' to express the Signature Kitchen Suite's brand slogan, 'Transform spaces into art, transform life into artistry.' LG Premium Brand Shop Held in the Heart of the Middle East
LG Electronics is targeting the local premium market in the Middle East through the opening of a premium brand shop at 'Rozana Mall,' a key commercial district in Kuwait. The brand shop spans two floors with a total area of 433 square meters (m²), combining the first and second floors. LG Electronics has established an experience zone within the store, allowing customers to view LG signature products such as OLED TVs, washing machines, and refrigerators at a glance. In addition to Kuwait, LG Electronics operates premium brand shops in major Middle Eastern countries including Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The company plans to continue expanding its premium brand shops centered on key commercial districts in each country.
