EZ-BT™ WICED and EZ-BLE WICED designed for module evaluation purposes

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking evaluation boards for the Cypress Semiconductor EZ-BT WICED and EZ-BLE WICED modules. These boards are designed to evaluate Cypress's Bluetooth® WICED (Wireless Internet Connectivity for Embedded Devices) modules, enabling engineers to develop fully certified and programmable Bluetooth Smart and Bluetooth Smart Ready devices for a variety of Internet of Things (IoT) applications, including medical, industrial, and consumer markets.

The Cypress Bluetooth WICED evaluation board, available from Mouser Electronics, accelerates the development of connected IoT products by simplifying the use of the WICED module and reducing the cost and time required for RF (radio frequency) hardware development, certification, and qualification processes. Designers can use it as a standalone evaluation kit or expand it further with Arduino-compatible shields.



The EZ-BT WICED Dual Mode Module Evaluation Board enables evaluation and development of Bluetooth 5.0 applications based on the CYBT-34026-01 EZ-BT WICED module. This module offers performance including 512KB of flash memory, 352KB of SRAM, 16-bit delta-sigma ADC (analog-to-digital converter), 4 PWMs, and maximum transmit power of +9dBm (Bluetooth Smart) and +12dBm (Bluetooth Smart Ready).

EZ-BLE WICED enables evaluation and development of Bluetooth 4.1 and Bluetooth Low Energy applications based on the CYBLE-013025-00 WICED module. The CYBLE-0130xx-00 family of WICED modules is ideal for cost-optimized designs and applications requiring simple Bluetooth connectivity. The CYBLE-013025-00 module features 128KB of flash memory, 60KB of SRAM, a 16-bit delta-sigma ADC, four PWMs, and a maximum transmit power of +4dBm.
