The 'International LED & OLED EXPO 2018', the largest LED trade exhibition in Korea, will be held from June 26 to 28 at Halls 3 and 4 of KINTEX in Ilsan.

This exhibition, which is about to be held for the 16th time, is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Photonics Industry Association, the LED Industry Forum, and KOTRA, organized by Expo & You Co., Ltd., and sponsored by Bucheon City, the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Management, the Korea Institute of Photonics Technology, the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, the Electronics Components Research Institute, the Korea Institute of Illumination, the Cheorwon Plasma Industry Technology Research Institute, the Korean Society of Lighting and Electrical Installation Engineers, the Korea Lighting Fixture LED Industry Cooperative, the Korea Lighting Industry Cooperative, the Taiwan Photonics Industry Association, the Japan LED Association, the China Lighting Association, and the Japan LED Light Source Promotion and Development Organization.

This year, the International LED & OLED EXPO 2018 and PHOTONICS KOREA 2018 have been integrated to be held as the International Photonics Convergence Expo, which is the largest trade exhibition in Korea specializing in LED, OLED, and optics, with over 350 domestic and international companies participating. In addition, the 'Laser Expo 2018' and the 'LED Industry Forum 2018,' which invites leading experts in the LED industry to explore the current status and future direction of the LED industry, will be held concurrently during the exhibition.

At 'International LED & OLED EXPO 2018', products covering the entire LED and OLED industry, such as lighting, equipment, components, materials and applications, microLEDs, UV LEDs, and smart LEDs, will be exhibited, and at 'PHOTONICS KOREA 2018', optical-related products, such as optical precision instruments, optical communication, optical materials, and optical instruments, will also be exhibited.

In addition, at 'Laser Expo 2018', products covering the entire LASER industry, such as LASER-related processing machines, equipment (marking, cutting, medical, etc.), oscillators, light sources, medical and application products, will be exhibited.

As side events, a large-scale government awards ceremony for outstanding new technology developers and export consultation meetings with invited influential buyers will also be held.

Applications for corporate participation are being accepted until April 30, 2018. Booth locations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order of application submission, so it is advantageous for interested companies to submit their application to the secretariat as soon as possible.
