Lenovo Signs Strategic Partnership with Ducati MotoGP Team
Published2018.04.10 10:24Lenovo announced that it has signed a sponsorship partnership with the Ducati team competing in the MotoGP World Championship.
Lenovo will serve as Ducati's primary technical support partner starting from the 2018 season, providing its PCs, tablets, and servers for use on and off the track. In addition, joint development and collaboration will be conducted during product research and development to support the Ducati team's successful racing.
Gianfranco Lanci, Chief Operating Officer and President of Lenovo, commented on the partnership, saying, “MotoGP is a popular sport watched by millions of people worldwide. Ducati’s 90-year tradition and strengths in innovation, speed, and performance, which are prominent in MotoGP, align well with Lenovo’s philosophy of leading product development on the global stage.” He added, “We are pleased to be able to help realize the development and ambitions of the Ducati team through Lenovo products.”
“We are pleased to announce an important partnership with Lenovo, the world’s largest PC manufacturer and provider of innovative technologies in personal and enterprise PCs and data centers,” said Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali. “We will take on a successful race on the MotoGP track with Lenovo’s latest technologies and powerful computer hardware.”
