Mouser Electronics is launching a new series of 'Empowering Innovation Together', Generation Robot, with renowned engineer Grant Imahara for the fourth consecutive year.

In this five-part series produced worldwide, Imahara takes an in-depth look at the engineers, companies, and machines that are changing the way we treat and interact with robots. It introduces everything about robots, from robot theory to how they are used in the real world like something out of science fiction, and how we navigate the same human/robot world.

In the first episode of Generation Robot, Imahara visits the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM) at the Georgia Institute of Technology and meets Dr. Magnus Egerstedt. The two explore the basics of robotics, myths and misconceptions about robots, and discuss Dr. Egerstedt's greatest hopes and fears regarding the advancement of robotic technology.
