The Giga Genie AI API provides voice recognition, conversation, and translation services. The voice recognition function has been applied to KT's artificial intelligence service 'Giga Genie' and is characterized by high user speech recognition accuracy. The conversation function identifies the speaker's intent from natural language sentences and provides responses according to predefined dialogue models. The translation function supports Korean sentences translated into English, Japanese, and Chinese, and conversely supports translation from English, Japanese, and Chinese into Korean, enabling bidirectional translation.

Going forward, the Giga Genie AI API will expand to include additional functions such as speech synthesis and media, starting with voice recognition, conversation, and translation capabilities. Beyond artificial intelligence, KT plans to expand its own platform ecosystem by linking its major platform businesses including blockchain and IoT with cloud services.
