Hilscher will focus on introducing the technology and capabilities applied to the 'netX 90' product at SPS IPC Drives 2018, Europe's largest electrical and automation product trade fair, held in Nuremberg, Germany, for three days from the 27th to the 29th.
Hilscher is a company that provides multi-protocol SoC products, including the netX network controller. It offers the netX 100/500 for masters and the netX 51/52 for slaves, and recently introduced the netX 90, a new product with significant upgrades for slaves.

The netX 90 is a solution in Hilscher's SoC family that provides a new level of communication capabilities.

It supports all major industrial Ethernet and fieldbus standards, as well as IIoT standards OPC UA and MQTT. Compared to the previous generation product, the netX 90 has a smaller form factor of 10mm x 10mm and reduced power loss to less than 1W.
In addition, communication and application tasks were separated at the chip architecture level. It also features two Cortex-M4 processors running at 100 MHz and includes security functions for field and cloud connectivity.

Hilscher's netX Studio includes all the components necessary to configure, develop, and debug embedded application programs. A compartmentalized project manager provides a set of utility tools to configure pre-built communication firmware in three simple steps.
Therefore, the netX 90 can provide excellent flexibility for various industrial slave applications for factory automation.
